Trio time today at First Reformed Church in Zeeland, MI. Our group consisted of two violins and a cello today! Jacob Bonnema and I were joined by the recent Calvin College graduate Katie Seifert. Katie is heading over to Kalamazoo to study speech pathology at Western Michigan University this next year. Jacob recently obtained a nursing job at an amazing hospital in Chicago! It is such a joy to play with and know such multi-talented people. We had a wonderful time in downtown Zeeland at the church this afternoon and played selections as follows: Seating of the Grandparents/Mothers: -The Flower Duet from the Lakmé opera by composer Léo Delibes Bridal Party: -Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring Bride: -Canon in D by Pachelbel Unity Candle: -The Wedding Song by Paul Stookey Recessional: -La Rejouissance by Handel along with prelude and postlude music. Enjoy this beautiful weekend! Sincerely, The Charmante String ' Trio'
